1. Education and training

Throughout the journey of establishing and growing a successful minority-owned startup, our founder recognized the need for a well-resourced pathway to support motivated entrepreneurs just like her. Our curriculum is an outgrowth of this realization, designed specifically to provide the practical content and how-to guidance for the emerging business leader.

 

We source highly qualified instructors – both from our own staff and from our network of industry experts – to teach up-and-coming leaders and entrepreneurs in classroom and small-group settings.

2. CERTIFICATION COACHING AND MENTORSHIP

We provide one-on-one coaching and hands-on guidance to support businesses throughout the long and sometimes complex process of becoming certified. We help business owners prepare their applications, including their capability and financial statements.

 

We also help to optimize resources with credit and financial literacy coaching and budgeting.

3. DIVERSITY INCLUSION AND COMPLIANCE

Businesses working with diverse and minority-certified businesses must comply with a variety of rules and regulations promulgated by local, state, and other fiduciary agencies. Our first-hand knowledge forms the basis for our strategic and tactical support in areas such as:

  • Payroll certification
  • Community Outreach
  • Vendor auditing services: ensures accurate vendor reporting and payment
  • Reporting to and liaising with state and local governmental representatives

4. OUTREACH AND COMMUNITY COLLABORATION

We support our clients’ efforts to do business with women and minority-owned enterprises through the creation of outreach programs.

 

This includes the creation and execution of events designed to expand our clients‘ network of available minority-owned vendors.

5. WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

We have particular expertise in workforce diversity issues, which includes providing strategic guidance to create a more diverse workforce and up-leveling the skills of disadvantaged candidates.

REDUCING WASTE

We are committed to reducing waste across our operational sites.

 

• We promote reuse and recycling, as well as the use of supplies that are recycled and recyclable and whose production and use minimize the consumption of natural resources.

 

• We encourage our offices to drive initiatives to reduce waste, including sorting and recycling materials, donating used technology equipment, putting drinking water taps in place, reducing food waste, and running recycling campaigns.

Our environmental footprint strategy seeks to address greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and waste across our entire operation as we strive to continually strengthen our environmental practices. We will comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
